Issue 8 Vol I, January 31, 2006Letters IT is a very good attempt to portray different aspects of current development in the www.southasiapost.org. I particularly liked the coverage concerning the lecture on media organised by The Hindu. The issue relating to the confrontation involving legislature and judiciary is rather unfortunate. In this context I would suggest the South Asia Post should unearth the Constituent Assembly Debates and put them on the web site. I hope it can be done. The coverage of the Post on K.R.Narayanan and Major Gopi and other subjects has been read by many people. I have got so many calls form my friends. This shows that the Post is being read many people across the country. One suggestion - can it be possible to give news from our rural areas or is it too tough to get the news from those areas? How about giving some space to news concerning youth? After all India is an ancient civilisation with a youthful face. It is because 33 per cent of our population is youth that the demographic factor is in our favour. These are some of the suggestions which come to my mind. S.N. Sahu Professor Harish
K. Puri It has been indeed 'a delight and instruction' to go through the contents of South Asia Post. It seemed a document with a difference in the currently over crowded street. Bal Anand, | |||||||||||||||
