Vinod Anand "NAZAR"

"Co-travellers"

Of great moment it is, and of no
Consequences too-
All were lost on the wayside,
Co-traveller there was none.
What perhaps was there yesterday,
Is no more today.
Unmindful I remain of the time
My moorings were gone.
Of great moment it is, and of no
Consequences at all
All were lost on the wayside
                Co-traveller there was none-
How long will this tale continue, after all,
How can life in loneliness be lived after all?
When will this world fall away from me
And the journey begin to another place?
Where co-traveller there is none.
Nor paths, nor direction, and nothing else.
Where there is neither movement, nor rest
Nor any direction-
Of great moment it is, and of no
Consequence at all,
All were lost on the wayside
Co-traveller there was none.
Now, in life has come a stillness-
No excitement of any journey to begin.

"Religion of Humanity"

Except for self-
All other objects
animate or inanimate-
are means provided by God
To reach out to others.
And the best way
To reach God.
Again, the truth is-
We must take leave of ourselves
Become a part of others
Embrace the religion of Humanity
Ignite the light of consciousness into
The living and non-living,
Stay connected with all.
