Sardar Bhagat SinghA young student Gopal Krishna from IIT Kanpur is full of enthusiasm and   has sent this message:

Dear brothers and sisters, the 75th anniversary of the great martyrdom day of our legendary revolutionaries, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru is great day. Glory to such fearless patriots, who were matchless in idealism and exceptional in valor and self-sacrifice. Today is the occasion for all of us to think about, how much we paid the tribute to lives of such valor and sacrifices in last 59 years of our independence.

Whatever these revolutionaries did, they did it for this country. They could not bear injustice and tyranny of the monstrous British Empire. They could not countenance the fallen nation. The oppression on the poor people became insufferable for them. They could not tolerate exploitation of the masses, they challenged and jumped into action. They were full of life. Oh ! The terrible toll of their dedicated deeds! They are indeed blessed!  Their martyrdom is not the day of sorrow, but the day of pride and national honor. It is a matter of honor to live and die for one's ideals, to sacrifice one's all for a great cause: and what can the greater cause than to ameliorate the sufferings of millions by freeing them from foreign yoke. THERE IS no crime that Britain had not committed in India. Deliberate misrule had reduced us to paupers, had 'bled us white'. As a race and a people we stood dishonoured and outraged. And hence, these martyrs sacrificed their all for the honor of our people at such a tender age of early 20s.

Bhagat Singh welcomed his capital punishment in these words: "With no selfish motive or desire to be awarded here or hereafter, quite disinterestedly, have I devoted my life to the cause of independence, because I could not do otherwise. The day we find a great number of men and women with this psychology, who cannot devote themselves to anything else than the service of mankind and emancipation of the suffering humanity, that day shall inaugurate the era of liberty."

Dear friends, today on this great occasion, let us consecrate our hearts, minds and souls for our great revolution, Bharat Uday Mission, which will usher into a society of our revolunataries' dreams: a society free from all tyranny and oppression born out of human egotism, a society of liberty and equality, a society where no man-made walls divide the hearts of mankind.

O friends, let us ever remember, that the sword of revolution is sharpened on the whetting-stone of ideas and is redeemed in the supreme spirit of self-sacrifice.

Day-by-day my conviction is growing that our Mission is the most effective and equally challenging path of nation-building: it is like walking on burning coals, but friends, what is be burnt finally on this path is only our lower self, our lower personal desires and what will be left will be the light which will illumine our own lives and the lives of our crores of countrymen and countrywomen: on this great occasion of the "Shaheed Divas", I urge that we sacrifice our personal goals and selfish, personal desires completely at the altar of our motherland like our revolutionaries Bhagat Singh and his comrades. I invite you to join our Mission fulltime in future (after fulfilling some morally important family responsibilities) and become the 21st century Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on the plane of national service and self-sacrifice. If you are one of such youths, who can give his/her all for the sake of humanity, who can fight till the last breath, who will never give up the struggle for the rise of a great nation, I welcome you to join BM fulltime in future: in case, you heart resonates with the ideals of supreme valor and self-sacrifice, please take a pledge to give your lives completely to Bharat Uday Mission and join our yahoo-group of "future fulltime members" by sending a blank mail to BM_fulltime-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

LOVE LIVE REVOLUTION!

We are not to ask why,
We are but to do or die.
March on! O Patriot! March on!
Struggle for that is your destiny.
Fight for that is your duty.
Serve for that is your nature.
Live and die for your ideals,
for that is your true glory.
March on! O Patriot! March on!
Heed not the bark of dogs,
not even the thunderbolts of sky,
let the storm of trials arise,
to finally become our garlands.
March on! O Patriot! March on!
Let us not give up our Dharma,
for the sake of Artha & Kama;
we may lose the battle,
but not the war of life,
March on! O Patriot! March on!
We will parish one day,
but our fragrance will not,
what better life,
can you have, O Patriot!

Let us pledge ourselves to be as self-sacrificing and courageous as our revolutionaries on this great occasion of Shaheed Divas: will you be our lifelong comrade, my friends! If yes, then take the pledge to join BM fulltime in future and work as fulltime member till last breath: join BM_fulltime grp.
